On November 23, the official website of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee announced the list of projects to be funded in 2022. The subject of our company's 2022 technical research project is "2022064 Key technology research and development of ultra-high-definition MicroLED large-size smart screens" Through layers of screening, it finally successfully passed the technical research project of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee.
According to the "Shenzhen Science and Technology Plan Project Management Measures", "Shenzhen Science and Technology R&D Funds Management Measures", "Shenzhen Technology Tackling Special Management Measures" and other relevant regulations, LPDISPLAY will receive funding from the Shenzhen Science and TechnologyInnovation Commission for this technology project.

MicroLED technology, when it first appeared, was considered to be the first ever display technology with no size limitation and became the recognised future development direction of displays, thus being highly sought after by manufacturers across the display industry chain.
The basic characteristics of MicroLED technology are outstanding: this display technology has a wide colour gamut, high brightness, low power consumption, high stability, long life, wide viewing angle, high dynamic range, high contrast ratio, high refresh rate, transparency, support for seamless connectivity and integrated internal sensors. Although these characteristics can be achieved in LCD, OLED and QD panels respectively, MicroLED technology can achieve these technical characteristics at once, there is almost no obvious shortcomings, but also is currently the most comprehensive performance in the technical conditions of the display panel technology. MicroLED is the frontier of large screen display technology, now the main involved in the technology is Japan's SONY and South Korea's Samsung, China has been in a blank state in this technology, one of the core technologies of our company in this project is to develop 8K MicroLED technology for large screens, to fill the gap in this technology in China and catch up with the international level.
The LP DISPLAY has passed the technology research project, which is the affirmation of Shenzhen Science and Technology Commission for the company's breakthrough in Micro LED display technology.
